About Ichiban Karate Fundraising
Ichiban Karate, is a karate club, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Ichiban Karate is in the process of becoming a registered charity.
All our coaches are volunteers and as a club we work hard to of engage with children and young people, through karate, to better improve their future education and career prospects as well as providing a safe and welcoming environment for them to grow, develop and achieve their goals.
We work with many children and young people from some of the city's most socio-economically disadvantaged areas. Working with beginners to world champions.
Every year we raise money to help many of the families that cannot attend classes or the competitions needed for them to achieve their dreams. In the past 2 years we have raised funds to send many of our talented young people to World Championships and other major competitions, and in so doing have helped these young people become World and British World Champions.
We have lots of opportunities for people to support us and get involved such as attending a ticketed corporate event, participation in fundraising, sponsorship, or joining our corporate partner’s network programme.

Get your colleagues together for a fun afternoon of football, fun and some networking.
All players will receive a free drink and there will be light food a nibbles available.
THE EVENT: Teams of 5 players (plus 2 subs). League format consisting of 5 teams per group playing in a Champions League format of games lasting 10 minutes each. The top 2 teams from each group will go into a head to head knockout competition until we have outright winners. The games will be overseen by FA qualified Referees and the venue has full shower and changing facilities for all participants.
KICK OFF: The first games will start at 15:00 with teams encouraged to arrive from 14:30. We expect all games and the champions to have been crowned by approximately 18:30, after which all players are invited to enjoy some drink and food at the bar and hospitality facilities on site.
